In 2015, the Florida Recreation and Park Association adopted a unique Strategic Plan that encompassed the areas of health, environment, community building, and economic impact. The work from this plan has become the pillars of FRPA's Mission Statement and are an integral part of the Association's direction for education, advocacy, and Association work. With the adoption of a new Strategic Plan in 2023 focused on the profession and professional, these foundational pillars will continue to serve as a framework for conversations relative to the impact of parks and recreation.
