SPARK

When:  Oct 26, 2017

Unfortunately this class has been cancelled. We look forward to organizing this class again in the near future and hope you'll be sure to join your fellow professionals when that time comes.

SPARK sessions will connect parks and recreation professionals from different cities/counties who share similar job functions. This connection will be cultivated through a series of three meetings or “SPARK sessions.” Attend one or attend all. Each SPARK session will be hosted by a different agency. These meetings may incorporate site visits to introduce successful facilities, programs, or processes in the hosting agency. Participants will develop long-term professional partnerships.

BRING A BROWN BAG LUNCH TO EAT WHILE WE MEET TOPIC: Disaster response-Case Study Hurricane Irma

Share pre and post measures that can be taken to prepare for natural disasters, different resources available, and organizations to partner with; network with subject matter personnel; and learn what agencies experienced before and after hurricane Irma.
