Recognizing and Responding: Handling Crisis

When:  Mar 14, 2019 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM (ET)
The Recognizing and Responding: Handling Crisis workshop will take a deep look at issues that all too often affect unsuspecting communities. It is not always a mass crisis. Every day someone in your program, or a visitor to your park may be in crisis.  This one-day workshop will feature sessions that will help the park and recreation professional recognize when a citizen or coworker may be in a crisis and help equip you with the information needed to point them in the right direction for help. Presentations will feature information about crisis theories, as well as how to engage local resources after a crisis has occurred.
